I am a technical lead in the Walton Institute for Information and Communiations Systems at Waterford Institute of Technology, Cork Road, Waterford, Ireland. When not experimenting with radio, I spend my time working in the general areas of systems administration, networks and security.

• Tools and technologies that could be used for Amateur Radio Emergency Communications, such as FreeData, DTN, D-STAR, AX.25, JS8Call, gARIM Messaging Program, Pat, Winlink, Amateur Radio Emergency Data Network, Wireless Mesh Networks and various other digital modes
